Start the morning before the beach fills up: a fully prepared à la carte breakfast on your terrace, with fresh eggs, handmade börek, seasonal fruit — Bitez's own tangerines when they're in season — smoked salmon, and Turkish tea, so everyone's fed and ready before the short walk down to the water. Bitez does low-key celebrations well: children's birthday parties by the pool, milestone anniversaries on the terrace after the kids are asleep, and multi-generational reunions where three generations share one villa — or villas next door to each other. If your group is split between a Bitez villa and family staying nearby in Gümbet or Ortakent, we can cook across both properties on the same trip — one chef, one standard, wherever everyone's actually sleeping.
Bitez also has its own local calendar — the village hosts the Bodrum Mandarin Festival most winters, and it's easy to build a course or dessert around the same citrus the festival celebrates, from a tangerine salad to a candied-peel finish. Whatever the occasion, every booking includes the chef's surprise — a complimentary welcome bite or bonus course — and dates fill quickly in July–August, so it's worth reserving through the booking form once you know your travel dates.
