Private Chef for the Events Around Your Indian Wedding
A Bodrum Indian wedding is rarely one meal — it is a week of them. Kapelia is the in-villa chef for the celebration meals that surround the ceremony: the welcome dinner the night everyone lands, the sangeet cocktails, the long poolside brunches, and the gentle recovery brunch the morning after. We cook these from a fresh Aegean and Mediterranean repertoire and build every menu around vegetarian, vegan, Jain-friendly, halal and no-beef guests. For the ceremonial Indian dishes — the biryani, the curries, the mithai — we are glad to work alongside the specialist Indian caterer you bring in. You get one team feeding your guests beautifully on every day that isn't the ceremony itself, and zero overlap with your caterer.
Chef Ece and her team arrive with the ingredients, set up in your villa or resort kitchen, serve, and clean up — so your family can be guests at their own celebration instead of running a kitchen.
The Events We Cook For
These are the five services most Indian wedding weeks in Bodrum ask us for. Mix and match them across your days — each is priced per person and fully customisable.
Welcome Dinner
The first night, when relatives arrive from three continents and nobody wants logistics. A relaxed family-style Aegean spread on the terrace — mezze, grills, fresh fish or a fully vegetarian table — sets the tone and lets everyone breathe before the big days begin.
Sangeet Cocktail Catering
Music, dancing, and food that travels around the room. We serve canapés, vegetarian and vegan bites, halal options and grazing platters that keep a sangeet going without sitting anyone down — timed around your performances and playlist.
Poolside & Day Brunch
Between ceremonies, a long brunch by the pool. Eggs, börek and pastries, fresh fruit, salads, and lighter plates — vegetarian-forward by default, with halal and gluten-free options — served at your guests' pace through the afternoon.
Day-After Recovery Brunch
The most underrated meal of the week. A slow, beautiful brunch on the terrace the morning after the wedding — Turkish tea, fresh juice, eggs, pastries and fruit — that quietly heals a tired, happy group before everyone scatters home.
Aegean Feast Night
A standalone dinner night that leans fully into where you are: a curated Aegean Coast Table or one of our signature menus, plated or family-style, for an intimate dinner or a 60-guest celebration.
Menus Built Around Every Guest's Diet
Indian weddings are the most dietary-mixed celebrations we cook for, and we plan around that as standard. Every event menu can be vegetarian, vegan, Jain-friendly (no onion, garlic or root vegetables on request), halal, no-beef and gluten-free — built honestly from Aegean and Mediterranean ingredients, not by imitating Indian cuisine. For authentic Indian ceremonial dishes we coordinate with your Indian caterer. Our full dietary guide explains exactly how it works: vegetarian, Jain & halal dining for Bodrum weddings →
Our Menus
Choose from six curated menus or design your own. Every dish can be personalised to your guests, your theme, and your dietary needs.
How We Work With Your Planner & Caterer
Kapelia owns the food for the non-ceremonial events only — so there is no clash with your wedding planner or your Indian caterer, just a smoother week. We time our service around your run-of-show, liaise with your planner on guest counts and timings, and work alongside the Indian caterer handling the ceremonial meals. If you haven't appointed an Indian caterer yet, we're happy to plate our service around whoever you choose.
Where in Bodrum We Cook for Weddings
We cater Indian wedding events in villas and resorts across the Bodrum Peninsula. The most popular wedding-week bases are Yalıkavak (marina and luxury villas), Türkbükü (beach-club coast), Torba (waterfront compounds for large groups), Gündoğan and Bodrum Centre. Each links to its own private-chef page below.
Pricing for Wedding Events
